We are here to fix that.

MMA Tamil Nadu is the official state unit of the Mixed Martial Arts Sports Federation of India (MMA-SFI). We are the recognised body responsible for governing, developing, and elevating mixed martial arts across the state.

We sanction championships at every level. We certify coaches, referees, and judges. We conduct district trials in all 38 districts of Tamil Nadu. And we select the state contingent that represents Tamil Nadu at the MMA-SFI National Championships.

Every event we organise is conducted strictly under the official MMA-SFI rulebook. Every selection criterion is published in advance, so athletes and coaches know exactly what is required. Every referee and official who steps into the cage is certified through our system. 

That is the whole idea.

A fighter from Theni faces the same standards, the same process, and the same opportunity as a fighter from Chennai. No shortcuts. No favouritism. Only performance and preparation.

Our work is built on three clear commitments:

Structure - A clear, consistent pathway from district level to state and national competition.

Transparency - Published criteria, certified officials, and accountable processes at every stage.

Athlete Welfare - The safety, development, and long-term well-being of every athlete who steps onto the mat.

We exist so that talent from any corner of Tamil Nadu can rise through a system that is fair, professional, and worthy of their effort.
